This 14K white gold ring features five, graduated, round cut blue sapphires surrounded by a milgrain design. The stones are structured by a horizontal, elongated marquise shape curved to the finger for maximum comfort. The sapphires weigh 1.43 carats in total. Sapphire is the birthstone of September.
Since the olden ages, sapphires have been believed to protect royal families from harm, envy and bad spirits. Blue sapphires were even thought to be an antidote for poison.
